My name is Nolan Hubbard. I am a musician, multi instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, teacher and performing artist from the small Ontario town of Gananoque. I’m currently based out of Kingston ON and travelling back and forth along the 401 between Toronto and Ottawa each week doing music full time. I’ve been fortunate enough to spent a lot of my free time over the years writing songs, learning how to produce music, recording with amazing artists, playing over 1000 shows while touring across Canada since I first got my guitar at the age of 11. I’ve loved every minute of it. I have co written and recorded as a session musician with many various artists including Devon Cole and Your Paris, had my songwriting used in the 2022 indie film “So I Married Myself”, had my debut album “Luminosity” played on CBC Radio 1 and local stations across the country, and amassed over 12 Million listens worldwide on streaming platforms as an accredited songwriter. I offer Guitar & Performance Lessons, bookings for Weddings, Private Events & DJ Services and sessions that we aim to work with artists on Songwriting, Production & Pre Production, Live Instrument Tracking, Content/Brand Development & more. I just released my latest EP I Won’t Lie that I’m really excited about, it’s the proudest I’ve been of the music I’m making in a long time. I wont Lie

I Won't Lie released November 22nd 2024 and is Nolan Hubbard’s second collection of songs in his discography in the form of a 5 track EP, releasing under his newly founded indie label “Kingsville Records”. It paints a vastly dynamic portrait of the artist's journey through self discovery, relationships and social life in his earlier 20s through the lens of the same small town Ontario romantic that released Luminosity, his Nashville produced debut album back in 2017. The now 28 year old Hubbard notes the EP as being what feels like the culmination of his sound since starting his music career as a teenager. Sonically the record reaches new heights for the artist, demonstrating a matured sense of his mastery for layering soulful vocal harmonies and cascading fingerstyle guitars from his years of live performing. Its colorful genre bending instrumentation compliments the exciting balance between total creative freedom and undeniably present pop sensibility in his songwriting. While remaining true to Hubbard’s pop/folk roots, the record shows new direction for the artist as he tastefully dips into alternative, reggae, hip hop, even country sounds on the record from the many other musical inspirations of his. It’s a new sound with a feeling reminiscent of other notable self produced singer songwriters like Still Woozy, Dayglow and Lauv.

HOW I FEEL

How I Feel which released on October 25th 2024 is the lead off single from Nolan Hubbard’s forthcoming EP I Won’t Lie. The EP aims to mark the culmination of the last few years of sound exploration for Hubbard’s music. Turning 28 this year, the artist has pursued a heavily touring focused music career over the last 10 years, playing over 1000 gigs at this stage. Since age 23 he has been producing his own music through self taught exploration, learning from peers and the vast amount of resources available today. This has led to many collaborations and solo releases over the years, amassing the artist over 12 million streams as an accredited songwriter, namely with his collaboration on 3 of the tracks from the up and coming canadian artist Devon Cole's debut album Party For One (2021). With newfound opportunity allowing the artist to recommit full time to his music career in 2024 after some downtime, this project aims to mark the beginning of new inspiration and motivation for Hubbard and his music. This first single serves to pay homage to the mainly folk, country and rock influences of Hubbard’s debut album Luminosity (2017), while maintaining his always present pop sensibilities. The sound itself offers a refreshingly matured sense of space and time, It weaves warm cascading acoustic guitars with sparse but emotional drumming and soaring vocal harmonies. The charismatic and relaxed vocals from Hubbard lean into the singability of the story telling style lyrics in the song, detailing some of the family values and simple romantic outlook on life it’s incurred in the artist's life. It was played on all instruments, recorded and produced by Nolan Hubbard in his home in Kingston Ontario and then mixed and mastered by Ty Callan, also known as the artist “Sit Still”. It will be released under the collaborative label “Kingsville Records”, a recently developed project between Callan and Hubbard with the aim of serving as a home for their own forthcoming music and an opportunity to expand their collaborative efforts to working with more artists. With plenty of visuals, 2 more singles, the full EP and a busy touring schedule around the southern Ontario circuit ahead, Hubbard looks forward to 2025 with plans already in place for another solo project release, collaborations and wider spread touring.
